В рамках проєкту Школа миру до спеціалізованої школи №85 приїхали представники Федерації всесвітнього миру з Європи. Гості ознайомились з процесом освіти в українських школах. Особливо були вражені тим, що діти вимушені навчатись під час повітряних тривог. Найдовша тривали 8 годин. Іноземці подивились бомбосховище, вчителі продемонстрували як проводять заняття під час повітряних тривог. Делегація подарувала три кулери для дітей, оскільки під час стресу вживання води збільшується і батькам важко розрахувати скільки давати води з собою дитині.
Але, за словами делегації, найприємнішою була зустріч з дітьми. В актовому залі зібрались учні з 85 школи та Гімназії №59 ім. Бойченка. Діти обговорювали тему толерантності та готувалися до наступного заняття в Школі миру. Вони могли презентувати свої ідеї іноземним гостям, і що приємно вразило – англійською мовою./
As part of the School of Peace project, representatives of the Universal Peace Federation from Europe visited the specialized school #85. The guests got acquainted with the process of education in Ukrainian schools. They were especially impressed by the fact that children are forced to study during air raids. The longest one lasted 8 hours. The foreigners saw a bomb shelter, and teachers demonstrated how they conduct classes during air raids. The delegation donated three coolers for children, as water consumption increases during stress and it is difficult for parents to calculate how much water to give their child.
But, according to the delegation, the most enjoyable part was meeting the children. Students from school 85 and Boychenko Gymnasium #59 gathered in the assembly hall. The children were discussing the topic of tolerance and preparing for the next lesson at the School of Peace. They were able to present their ideas to the foreign guests, and what was pleasantly surprising was that they did so in English.
